Over the past four years I have a cataract in both eyes. Today went to the opticians to have my eyes checked and I was told that the right one is getting worse and time to have it done. Going to go to a private hospital that are taking NHS patients to help with the backlog, because it's a private hospital I won't have to wait 6 months or a year to have it done. They might do the left one as well but I don't think so.

@Logan I hope they do both eyes (usually the second is very soon after the first) because I have truly been thrilled about having had mine done! Absolutely fantastic waking up and being able to read my bedside clock!

Got a good soaking when I was replacing heads on the big sprinkler system. No way to test it without the water running to them.

But the best part is that after periodically, over the last few months, looking for the pedestal fan remote, I found it! It was in with my bag of sprinkler system parts :rolleyespink: must have scooped it off the table and into the bag when tidying up after the last repair session  Oh well, got lots of exercise looking for it up until now..

And counted the beer. I have company coming and I need to replenish what was consuned the last time. :)

Hi Logan, glad to hear your going to get your eyes done, both my parents have had there’s done in the last year, they do one eye then the other about 5 weeks later because obviously you won’t be able to see where your going as it takes a week to recover, both my parents are doing well and my mum said she doesn’t need her glasses as she can see that clear , hope all goes well Logan :spinning:
