Yes that is s possibility, my brother said that we got to die of something, he's 5 years older and he has a bit of a problem with his heart and blockage in his legs but not bad enough as yet to have stents in them.

 

@Logan congratulations on getting a date for your surgery. My only moments of worry were the few moments just before the procedure as I lay under the op lights. A day or so later, you'll be confident in throwing out any contact lenses you have for that eye and be able to punch that lense out of your spectacles.

I'm excited for you!

I'm back on my mission to go on walks after hearing about the backlog in hospital appointments recently. Obviously I don't hold out much hope for things to progress much further than from having all my recent various x-rays and scans for quite a while so with activity levels slightly on the decrease with the seasonal changes looming...painful it is but nevertheless I am determined to have a significant walk( for me at this moment in time) of around 45 minutes on most days.

Yesterday I just walked to the post box and then on to my sister's for a coffee before embarking on the return journey. I was nervous as I went without my stick and without my hubs. I can't remember when I last walked anywhere alone!!.

This morning hubs and I went for an hour's walk around the lakes opposite our house, I was again stickless but had hubs with me this time.The terrain was at times a tad challenging, but I only went where I felt confident.

Plan to walk through the woods surrounding the lakes tomorrow.
