It is raining steadily so I will be continuing with indoor chores. Just finished a bunch more paperwork and will start vacuuming the house, upstairs first and working my way down. I've got laundry on the go. I've got some turnips to peel, chop, pressure cook and mash up for tomorrow's turkey supper. And I've got lots of cranberries to make into sauce and also get canned today. This batch will be for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I put hot peppers in half of the sauce because lots of my friends like heat. And I'll be baking some herbed bread to use for dressing tomorrow's turkey.

Should all be quite manageable and done by about 2ish. :)

Hmmm, enough time to make some maple fudge too :dbgrtmb:

      Itchen Navigation: Brambridge - Allbrook
Went on lovely walk this morning along the River Itchen, just a 15min walk away from us. We did a circular walk of 3- 3.5 miles all told, slightly knackered now and have just taken some pain relief for my dodgy leg.

The Itchen is a chalk ' stream' and is beautifully clear running.:)

We have just got back from our first ever weekend in our own caravan. All things considered, it went really well. The site we were on is also where the caravan is stored. We don't have a car big enough to tow, so for the time being we are happy to leave it where it is. By next summer the situation might be different.

Saw a very interesting documentary on North Korea last night - thank the Lord that I live in the UK. It was on the Disney+ channel.

The most striking thing for me was the satellite image at the end - which clearly shows the difference betweeen Communism and Capitalism in a single black and white photo - here it is:

Just an update on this goldie, she's been found. There's been a lot of people looking for her. One lady told me that she was taken in by someone because they found her lead and collar on a bench. But they must of realized that they couldn't keep her and let her go again. She was found by one of the charity workers in the bushes. She wouldn't come out of the bushes until het adopted owner brought her other dog then she came out and back at home

Thank you Upsydaisy, it's terrible how they're treated at those puppy farms,in the dark and no contact with anything and people.

Went to get my hair cut, these days I can't stand it being long; and this from someone who had very long hair a few years back. Perhaps I've now grown up:old:

Is that the game where the winner has to have the lowest score Vicky?

Well done on beating them all. :)
