Thanks Victoria, managed to get about 3 hours sleep last night, and feeling a little better this morning, far from being right, but the meds seem to be doing something

Most productive evening walk last night, we returned by the shops so I popped into Boots to book a flu jab. I was given one on the spot, and for a good measure The Teenager got jabbed too.

I've never had a flu jab before, but these days I'm conditioned to roll up my sleeve whenever a needle is nearby

      Pancakes for dinner. :)

We have our youngest down this weekend , so we are treating this as our 1st Christmas because he flies off to South America beginning of Dec for a 7 week holiday.
Full Turkey dinner tomorrow and visiting family. He's just gone off to catch up with old school friends so I making a Lasagne to bung in the oven whenever he returns, easy option as it won't matter if he's a little late.:)

Not much at the moment, still got to take it easy from the cataract surgery a week ago. It's going well but can't do any bending no house work, to walk the dogs I have to go with hubby because of the bending to pick up the mess, but only 1 week to go and I'm free.

Yesterday we all went to York for the day. York Saint John's Uni was one of two Uni's that my daughter has applied for. We spent about 5 hours there with guided tours around the Uni and accommodation, which was enjoyable and reassuring for us.

Afterwards, we all then headed in to the city centre, which was not enjoyable, it was rammed with people, we were soon back in the car and heading home.

We will be doing it all again on the 8th December, this time at Lincoln, the second Uni my daughter applied for.
The Uni actually contacted her on Friday with an unconditional offer, so regardless of her end of term exams, they have already accepted her. Not the same type of course as the one she has choose at York. This one is mainly focusing on being an English teacher with one years studying in Thailand.

We did this too @gks when all 3 of our sons applied for Uni places,it's gives you a good insight to the Uni's / areas and...peace of mind to us all too. Wishing your daughter all the best, fingers are crossed that she secures a place at her Uni of 1st choice.:fingers crossed:

Fab..u..lous weekend, thanks @Logan . Really love seeing our babies, he's off back home after our midday meal ...which means I will have withdrawal symptoms for the next few days, I can feel the tears welling up already.

Yes it is, your son lives fairly near to you if I remember rightly, like my sister 's brood, so you're probably more fortunate ( like her) and see him regularly.
We are lucky that we get to speak to each of them a couple of times a week using video calling links. So I know I shouldn't grumble.......but nevertheless I will.:heehee:
