Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Yes. We contracted with the complex Rocha Brava and they rented it through internet/brochure and paid us twice a year. They maintained it and provide daily maid service. If furniture or anything needed replacement, we chose/bought/paid. We had a T2 (two bedroom apartment), a V2 is a two bedroom villa.

We don't either, why on earth do auto tune in a talent show? Also it was a really bad one, poor woman she obviously had a good voice, she didn't need it.

 

Sounds good Vicky and dare I say it a hassle free arrangement for you both too.

 

I went for a Chiropractic session earlier. I was there 45 minutes and after initial consultation I was tugged and pulled and pressed and leaned on in every position possible on all sides but finished up with a 15 minute electric massage on my back from neck to butt. I have been given a myriad of exercises to do, all first demonstrated by the Chiropractor, a lovely guy who got his degrees in America. I feel shattered!

 

I hope that it works for you Victoria, I used to have treatment with one and she was very good but it took a few weeks to get me mobile again, all the best.

I finished this week's work by noon today so I just sat and watched the mid-day news song and dance for an hour with a lovely cuppa in my left fist.

Then I went out front and strung the Christmas lights, hung the wreath between the garage doors, the bells on the front door and my "Santa in a racecar with two snowmen mechanics" blow up lawn decoration. All on a timer. They will light up at dusk and stay lit for 4.5 hours.

Then being in the spirit, I decided to go to a local shop and bought a small artificial tree. I've been working on making fun little ornaments and realized I had nowhere to hang them. This little guy is just right for the table near the front door!

And since the snow melted (it got up to nearly 40f) I barbecued some hamburgers for suppers and leftover lunches.

Now I'm being lazy and sitting on my behind again.

Posted all my cards today and spent the afternoon with my brother.

Feeling a tad under the weather today...and what weather it is to be under too!!

 

@Victoria I am so glad to hear that you are assessed as being able to do some exercises and able to see someone who can work on you plus is lovely to deal with.

Edited: I thought but forgot to type, "please be gentle with your new physio exercises!)

 

Thank you Upsy and Lori. I woke up about 4am with an ache/pain the the nape of my neck but it is fine now. The Doc said I have no muscle and must take this on as a full-time job do small exercises three to five times a day, but he did say rest frequently.

 

@Victoria softly, softly, catchy monkey. It may seem a long slow process but at least it will be steady progress.

I will be checking into the border wait times listings for the next hour or so to see when would be a good time to flip over to the states. I want to go fairly early in the morning but certainly not before anything is open over there.

And in between tidying, I will be sitting and working on some Christmas tree ornaments. Here is one so far..

Just remember all that you have been through Vicky, I personally don't know of anyone else that has had to go through what you have in a relatively short space of time. Your poor body has had a lot to cope with. xx
