Wow, that's a lot of walking @Upsydaisy ! @Selleri I have crochet hooks so maybe I shoild get myself some yarn and have a go because I really like that look!

Got a pan of date squares in the oven, finished cleaning the main floor, listened/watched 6 episodes of Corrie which were fun and when the squares are done I'm going up to the sewing room. A fun day

Good Morning Litty.jpeg one and all. Lori, I thought your sewing room was in the basement. Have you gone seriously underground now?

Oh goodness, no @Victoria. I have my workrooms in the two back bedrooms on the second floor in my house. I like to have sunlight and be able to glance out the windows at trees and birds whilst I work. One of the rooms is for all the machines and the other is my layout and ironing area. The ironing stuff and tables break down and stow away to create another guest bedroom because I have a queen sized wall bed in it. The room with the machines, well, that stays as is.

I think today I'll cut out another top, something in a light fabric with only three quarter sleeves. Start getting ready for spring! I have lots of winter tops now so switching over will be refreshing. :)

I do have some crown molding in the dining room to sand a bit after doing some spackling and before painting as well.

Very strange. Hardly any people in Morrisons this morning. Hardly any people in the hotel where we have lunch. Is everyone self isolating?

Picked up a dinner service from Morrisons - 12 piece set for £14. We had to get a new set as I've managed to destroy the previous dinner plates by heating them up on the hob. Still, nothing lasts forever does it.

What a dismally dreary day we've had.

Did another 3.5 mile walk, same distance as yesterday but a different walk. Came home soaking wet from just being out in the fog!!

Hubs occupied himself down in his workshop on some project he's working on this afternoon . I happily stayed well and truly indoors. Did a bit of dusting and vacuuming then made a few video calls.

Had an email from our AWOL youngest , apparently he's been in the desert for the last few days and is now travelling on to Arequipa.

This is where he was, looks amazing!!

Well done on your walk, Upsy. That is a lovely oasis.

Enjoyed a lovely walk in the sunshine early this morning, hubs walked halfway then headed back home to sort out our dinner and to do some of his on going jobs. He's happy at 2 to 2.5 miles a day, I will probably cut back a bit when the weather improves to allow for time gardening. I have decided to walk at least 3 miles per day Mon- Fri then cycle 3 +miles ( :fingers crossed:) on my static exercise bike at weekends. That's the plan I have in my head, whether it comes off is another matter. :heehee:

I've finished making the pastry and lining the tins for the chicken pot pies. And have the chicken and other ingredients all ready to mix. So in the morning I just need to combine the stuff, drop it in the tins, cover and bake! Easy peasy.

And I got some more electrical wires tidied. I've been switching over to heavier gauged wire for my battery array. Longer, sunnier days are coming and I want to be ready for the good weather- only about 90 more days. Lots of rays to power the batteries and more time to garden :blue thumb:

Filled up the bird feeders and put some seed out for them.
Hubby was working this morning so had to do 2 walks instead of the one.
