Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Went for a drive to Loule about 40 minutes East of us for T'other Half to buy a left-handed guitar and amp. It is lovely and sunny so a nice ride out.

We went in the Kia, Upsy ... but if that wind had not been present, yes, would have.

 

I thought they just strung them the other way up?
Now finding a left handed Amp, that could be a problem.

 

Beside the strings, the controls are reversed.

 

I must be more convincing when I try to do a joke on hubby. Because I had a tooth out yesterday I've got to do salt mouth washes. Just now hubby asked me if I was doing them and I said no but I was sort of had a slight grin. Then I laughed and he said I've got to try harder with my jokes.

 

Talking about left-handed, I did a manicure/pedicure the other day. As a few know, I have very long fingernails and have a lot of trouble cutting my right hand nails so really need a left-handed scissors. Clippers do not work as my nails are like steel.

 

Just ordered a new toilet and wash basin so as that ugly avocado suite can finally be gone.

 

Hope you ordered the high level toilet? Best thing we did after my hip/knee replacements. We had to order it but it was only 180 Euros.

 

I'll put that on my bucket list, hi level bog.

 

Do it sooner rather than later ... your knees will thank you, believe me (and I am short)! Ours also has the wrap down easy close lid.

 

My sister had both her bathrooms revamped with higher toilets and even had a lower sunken bath installed too in one of them as she lives alone and struggled to get in and out of it. She looked into purchasing one of those seats that lower you down into the bath but it was not really appropriate for her on closer thinking.

 

I would love a lower tub (the American ones are) as I do like a Sunday soak but sadly can't use bubble goodies now as they are slippery. I manage getting in but T'other Half has to help getting out! I am determined to conquer this though!

 

Have you thought about an ejection seat.
