Well, since you ask. I have been into the loft and braced the joists so I can attach a pole for the shower curtain to be attached. Went to take a person to hospital, but found out his family have done this for me. I have managed to pot on some Lobelia Cascade so as to help them grow a good root to put them out later.
Checked over a delivery of the Bathroom suite and found that we have a screw loose on the person who first checked it, that would be me.

 

Just had fab weekend with our eldest and his lovely girlfriend who came down on Friday. Hubs has just taken them to the station to head home to London. They took with them 5 Strawberry plants, 6 Fuchsias, 4 Pelargoniums and 2 Lavendars.
They bought their apartment last year which has a fair size roof terrace garden.

Now suffering from the Parent Blues and missing them already!

I checked out our Aldi promotions here just in case they had those plants, after Googling them I can see why they're so popular as they're gorgeous!!

Just took a break from playing with wiring outside and came in to play Wordle (New York Times). It was a stinker today. Took me 5 tries to get it. Makes me feel like a dunce!

And I washed my filthy kitchen windows. I couldn't get near them for awhile because all of the toddlers were blocking my path to them. The outside was filthy too. Yup, it is April and it will rain more but I couldn't stand it any longer.

 

Met up with a friend for a coffee, toasted teacake and chat in town this morning.
We planned our next two cinema trips, Operation Mincemeat and Downton Abbey.

 

We both went for haircut this afternoon, first since August for me, then a little drive around. Lots of wildflowers and even some Poppies and Wild White Iris. Stopped by Post Office and no plants from Spain or Madeira.

 

What!! Still nothing!! I hope they will eventually arrive in a viable state...but it's not looking promising is it, they've been in transit for over a fortnight haven't they?

Started to rain so came in and hopped on my static bike and managed 3.17 miles in 13 minutes...gradually getting there after my surgery.
