Went to see my friend Marion.

Hubby and myself are thinking of having a puppy next year, maybe.
Got to think of a name for a boy golden retriever. Our last ones were, Bramble, Logan, Moss, Willow and Bracken. The 2 that we got now are Barley and Berry. Any idea what name will go with them? Please.
Have thought of Ash, Oakley and hubby thought of Sage, but I'm not sure about that one.

My stepdaughter visited us today before heading off tomorrow for 6 months in Chile. She is completing her fieldwork for her PhD. Her mother is gutted at her having to go.

Oh dear I do feel for your wife @Jocko .:grphg:
15 years years ago our eldest decided to have a year out travelling round the world all by himself He was only 22....it was bad enough when he left for Uni but seeing him off at Heathrow was utterly hearbreaking. Hubs and I were quite ill with worry for the whole year...but obviously you can't let them know...just had to keep smiling and ' try' and show excitement in their adventures.

By the time our 3rd left for Uni and began travelling the world we had toughened up to it.:heehee:. Our younger one is no longer ever here for Christmas as he now always takes almost 3months off at that time to travel. This year he's going back to South America to visit some remaining countries that he couldn't fit in last year. We are now ,as I said, very use to it but even so we don't relax until any of our brood have safely landed back on homeground. They have all inherited the travel bug.....and good for them too

Good luck to your stepdaughter, she'll have a great time...smile and wave her off.

No sorry Holly, my friend Marion doesn't go on the internet at all. She's a Avon representative but her son in law puts the orders in, that's how i got to know her selling Avon.

No @Flumpy , that Marion would now be in her 90's . She's not posted for years now on GWF, she was ill too so probably sadly passed away. She was so lovely and knowledgeable wasn't she.

Holly....?? I think @Logan said that they wanted another male dog.

Back when we were first married I was an Avon rep, sadly they've branch out too much now and their products are not that good anymore.

                I was a Tupperware rep too.........gosh I've certainly lived the high life!:roflol:

Ho sorry didn’t know it was male :heehee:

The Marion I knew was still alive a few years ago, her family was looking after her, think she got dementia sadly, she was such an inspiration :spinning:

These days the Avon representative have to pay for their books, order forms and paper bags, also postage.

I like the fragrances, hand creams and the coconut shampoo and conditioner.
