It's the funny collection of pages that Mrs Shiney gets for the weekly TV schedule (she thinks this particular one is the best) and never looks at it.

Don't eat any of them. Bah! Humbug!!! :snorky:

I have some shelving/racking to build up in the loft. Bought them on ebay on special offer :blue thumb:. I also liked their delivery schedule. Free delivery 1 or 2 days, special delivery for an extra £4.95 at 3 or 4 days. :lunapic 130165696578242 5: They arrived the next day on the free delivery.

Today was a day to stay indoors so I made the most of it by brewing 40L of stout. In between the different stages I cleaned the windows in the house and had a clean up of the outbuilding which no longer smells like a dog kennel. Brew is now all tucked up waiting for the yeast to work its magic.

Went to see my friend keith this afternoon, he's got MS. He had a relapse and found that he couldn't swallow any food or drinks. When his carer came she told him to relax and don't panic, now he's better.

Sorry to hear about your friend @Logan and hope that he doesn’t have too many problems with his MS over Christmas. At least the carer was able to sort him out to calm him down:grphg:

Yesterday morning before the bad weather started I spent time moving a lot of our clay and plastic pots which have bulbs or Agapanthus corms in them and put them along the path in front of our house at the back so that I can start covering them with a large sheet of bubble wrap when we get the heavy frosts as I have Agapanthus in a lot of the pots and don’t have any room in the greenhouse to fit them all in as the greenhouse is full as it is and I don’t really want to lose the plants or the pots:sad:

The lady who is moving in next door popped round to introduce herself one day last week and informed us she dislikes gardening so I can see this garden going to rack and ruin as the grass is already quiet long:sad: I suggested to Mr Kandy that it might be worth our while asking the new neighbour if she would like to sell part of her garden to us (It would be done properly with estate agents for valuation and a solicitor doing the paper work) but he isn’t keen and said it would make our garden a funny shape:frown:.I did add later that Mr Kandy could then have a large workroom added to the land so he could do his woodwork in there instead of in the cold garage but he didn’t really reply. At least I have put the worm of an idea in his head for him to mull over:snorky:

Thank you @Kandy yes i'm sure keith will be fine over Christmas and the daytime carer will be with him. Not sure about the ones that arrive in the morning, when it's a holiday or weekend they can be so unpredictable of being late.

Hope you sort your neaghbour out, it's a good idea. But i wouldn't use it for that, more planting space. Why don't you convert your garage? A lot of people do it round here, hubby likes to put the car away at night.:)

So you've only made a few day's worth, slacker!!! :snorky:

I've still got to build the shelving/racking but have put it up in the loft ready for me to do it. I think I'll dig out a fan heater, if I can find it, and put that in the loft when I work up there, as I'm a soft Southie. :)

@Logan our garage is full to the brim with gardening stuff like flower pots seed trays, mushroom trays, lawn mower, gardening tools, push bikes, freezers, ladders, racking for tins of paint plus a load of junk that Mr Kandy brought home from clearing out his dads house and garage and he also has a large L shaped work bench full of his tools and has cupboards over the top with jars of screws, nails and all the other crap that men like to hang on to in the name of DIY.

I think we just need a bigger house and garden:snorky: Even the garage roof space has been boarded out and that is full of wood that Mr Kandy is clinging onto for dear life.He has even kept some of the cherry wood from the two trees he chopped down and dug up last year:biggrin:

@Kandy We have a large brick shed that sounds like your garage but also holds a fridge/freezer and tumble dryer ... and has been known to house a metre long snake for a couple pf years. I named the shed Casa De Cobra!

Have cooked 18 pieces of chicken, two lamb hearts and two pig livers for the dog. Most of it now in the freezer and the dog has drooled down my leg.
