Great!! I always reckon that homemade mince pies are much better than shop ones. Also. Home grown produce is so much better.

Just put the marzipan on the Christmas cake, i was panicking a bit, thought that i wouldn't have enough.. Leave it to dry out for 3 days then put the royal icing on.
Always make it very thick and don't bother with fancy icing.

                        I'm quite pleased .

Works 'do' tomorrow - tried on my work clobber - as the 'do' is in a posh restaurant - and IT ALL STILL FITS .

So, it turns out it's not always the case that you put on weight when you retire - one of the many +'s of getting out into the garden :spinning:.

Mind you, I did have a small belly when I was still in work - but I'll not mention it - especially as this is a public forum .

It's cheap chicken so I worry about bacteria. I discussed raw feeding with my vet and she told me that every chicken farm on the planet has sallmonella so raw food should come from specialist companies. And on my budget that's way too expensive.

The majority of vets are against raw feeding but, touch wood, I haven't had any problems. Ive seen a dog with really bad skin rash lose the condition after feeding raw (no medication would work). I get my wings and carcases from a chicken processor via our local butcher so its just run of the mill chicken (and cheap).
