That sounds good. But unfortunately my dog has a dicky tummy so I have to be careful anyway. I've cut out a lot of the grain he was eating before I got him (he was on just kibble). I was feeding Butchers Tripe but he got really bored with that and he won't eat any other tinned stuff so cheap meat it is. I can't afford to keep throwing food away and at least I know he will eat the meat.

Yesterday I worked in the loft putting up two more sets of racking/shelving. This time I managed it without having any parts left over :blue thumb: :heehee:

Yesterday I went through my collection of original sheet music, photocopied favourites, and
"tabs" (that's just the lyrics and chords of particur tunes), stored here in my "den," (alright..our front room).

          P1020057.JPG

It's just a question of selecting the right book.

Chucking out those I no longer like to play. They are here in ring binders together with A4 music books and smaller "fake" books. Together with my favourite jazz LPs, (there's more LPs on shelves upstairs in my "office"... alright..our box bedroom).
My CD collection is stored above them in racks that I converted from store-bought ones that curiously held nine CDs, to ones which would hold fourteen, to fill the available space. i should add that the CD racks are now over 20 years old, I've sticks that go in the side of the TV with thousands of mp3s them. But I prefer to use my jukebox wall box/adapter/iPod to h-fi system, mostly.

          P1020058.JPG

My two binders of favourites contain photocopied sheet music from several big albums which are difficult to keep open on the music stand and from the small fake books with the page size increased by 20% to bring them up to A4. All in plastic sleeves from Wilko.

The clip-on battery or adapter powered LED light I adapted, looks like a "proper" accessory and helps me read the pages. As our four uplighters in that room don't provide much usable illumination.

I like things to be orderly.

Even my jukeboxes have their 45s arranged in aphabetical order of the artist, within their category, 50/60s pop, 70/80 pop, Doo-Wop, Jazz Standards and Motown/Soul.

I'm a bit behind but I only read this today. Any time I see a squirrel a certain tv advert immediately springs to mind. I hope the link works.

Just got back from a four mile walk with the mutt. Rained there and back but my coat is only wet on the front. Bit odd.

Now settled down to an Agatha Christie on the TV, a hot cup of coffee and a tired dog asleep on the sofa next to me.

Heehee...no bodily harm done, thank goodness, and the car couldn't have been damaged by a nicer couple. In any other circumstances we'd have become firm friends :phew: It's far more likely to be a falling-down Christmas, given the silly over-consumption here :mute: By the time I've been bombarded by the publicity for rich food for several weeks, all I really want for Christmas is a crisp salad and a bottle of Perrier

I did some hoovering and cleaning :pathd:

Don't try and do too much travelling by train as most of them aren't running over the holiday period. Some of the London mainline stations are closed (Paddington, Liverpool St and Victoria) and others (St Pancras and Euston) have a very reduced service. So the roads are going to be rather busy.

Have a good Christmas. :blue thumb:

We have several family members travelling down from London some by train and others by car......expect them when we see them:dbgrtmb:. Don't envy them at all, holiday travel is a nightmare.

We are all set for the big day, everything is done so will just chill until we get the phonecalls to collect from the train station.....then the fun begins!:dancing:
