It’s a mid-range Ikea kitchen, but with granite tiles for splash-backs. Sorry, hubby doesn’t come with the kitchen. He’s mine - all mine!!

Thanks @Verdun everybody has their ways to get through and that's what you do, his funeral was last Thursday, no black, and probably spent more time with my sister than the last ten years put together, that's family's for you:scratch:

Printing off pdf's of clothing patterns and assembling.

Discovered my skills with paper gluing have sharply improved since kindergarten :heehee:

Had a good time at the picnic. And now sitting having a spritzer and relaxing. A wonderful Sunday! :)

Did my grocery shopping including a few treat for Amanda and granddaughter. Back home, sorted shopping and put mine in fridge and freezer. Rang Amanda, ''Are you calling in''? No sorry. Clutch has gone on my car. 'B'Hell. She spent a few days at her sister's in the New Forest. The car's electric handbrake had packed up. Diagnostics indicated faulty part. New part bought & fitted. Not that after all. Turns out previous owner had been messing around with some wiring. New part/loom fitted. Cost just under £800.00

Now a new clutch is estimated at £600.00

Driving back home. Woman driver in left turn lane, suddenly decides to go straight on, forcing me over. Front O/S tyre caught the herb of a center reservation. Blow-out. Texted grandson to give me a hand. Black gent stops, changes the wheel, wouldn't accept anything. Brand new trolly jack in my car-never used, has a leak, so u/s.

Me. Strained my lower bits lifting the spare out of the boot.

              Should have stayed in bed.

Got all of the pattern pieces assembled and was suspicious about the proportions of the pieces. Did a quick measure and figured out that my printer had decided to print in landscape rather than portrait mode so that is why, if I had used it to actually make an outfit, it would have fit Herve.... de plane, de plane! :roflol:

Started over... after getting it assembled I then traced onto plastic sheeting the pieces I need for my project and then fan folded it paper map style. It started off at 4'x 10' so not a small piece to work with.

Even with the big boo boo, I still felt I had a productive day :)

This is a, sort of, not gardening/gardening post. :heehee:

Mrs Shiney entered the big local horticultural show U3A with 1300 members) and, as usual, won the prize for the most total points won as well as 9 firsts, 7 seconds and 4 thirds. :yay:

The person that took photos for her didn't do a very good job. :noidea:
