Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

We have nine windows and six glass doors (patio style) and have them done every month. The cost is £15 a time. For us it's well worth it as my back wouldn't stand up to that work.

One of my cousins has her 95th birthday coming up and the home she lives in has asked her what she wants as a birthday present. She has said she wants to go skydiving so that have bought it for her. They've also organised an afternoon tea party for her actually birthday and they have hired a professional butler to serve her tea.

They really like her there as she's the life and soul of the place.

Preparing to put together a new Computer Desk and now reading the plans. Much to my surprise each piece is clearly numbered with sticky labels and actually agrees with the plans. The only problem is that it is 18" longer that the old one which will mean emptying and moving a Welsh Dresser next to it 18" to the right, which will have a domino effect on the surrounding furniture, plus the Dresser is crammed with Books, numerous fragile glass objects, intrinsically valuable items, etc, so they need to be stowed somewhere safe while moving the new desk into place while dismantling the old desk, disconnecting the computer, router, various lamps, USB devices, and large gaming monitor and associated items.

 

Not what I heard

 

I reckon it'll take longer to empty the Welsh Dresser, store the items temporarliy , Upsydaisy, disconnect the all the electronic bits and pieces, move the furniture, have a mug of tea, than put the desk together, and put all the items carefully back into the Welsh Dresser, move the furniture back into place, and then reconnect all the electronic gear. But my friend



who is a lot cleverer than me, and has a higher I.Q than all our MP's put together is going to give me hand in return for a Banana or two.

 

Sounds good to me, Upsydaisy, but I've only just passed my Test for my newest bike....
