@john558 I was guilty of yelling at people all the time because I was taking care of someone who wouldn't wear hearing aids. Took a bit of training myself, to tone myself down outside of visiting him as I really didn't want the WHOLE pub knowing my personal business!

I spent part of my day tidying and catching up with myself because I spent many an hour fighting with my cell phone after it would not connect to the internet and the only way to make it operate was to update the OS. I got it updated and it dumped my contacts in the process. Then my kobo/the library were giving me the razz. Umpty times trying to dump overdrive and load cloudlibrary. After much frustration I finally narrowed down the stubbornness to the app not liking my browser. 3 browsers later, I found a winner. :) Tonight I bet to read lots of new material :yahoo: I usually read a book or two a week so free ones are heaven.

Then I accidently knocked over my divided container of 500 paperclips. Took me some time to pick them up, whilst crawling around the floor. But I did take the time to make sure the colours weren't mixed.... A type Lori....

Repositioned a solar panel to keep snow from accumulating on it's surface. Stepstool to get on top of rain barrel to then jump up to the top railing. Always a good time to recall my respect for gravity.

I started my day with a nice cuppa and now I'm sitting with a pleasant spritzer. Lots of ice

I had a blah day. Washed some of my knit tops by hand. Got a little shopping done and now realize that I forgot to get what I most needed

Moved a small server fan to run next to a large one out in the two small greenhouses. The big ones have red LEDs aand the small, green ones. They run off the batteries from sunset up until 9. Very Christmassy. Set up the blow up Christmas race car. It is orange (hemi orange like the 'cuda) with Santa leaning out the driver's window and a couple of snowmen mechanics attending the vehicle. I also put out my lights but they need to be better arranged. Christmas wreath on the front door and another between the garage doors.

Cleaned tne kitchen and two bathrooms (dislike cleaning bathrooms) and washed the f,oors on the main floor.

Had a client come by to ask if I would do some more work for her.

Ate ice cream for dessert after breakfast. Then later... Licorice twisters. An aero bar. Some smarties and a piece of fruit cake which I then forced down my neck by following up with a couple pieces of chocolate fudge. Just had some potato crisps which complimented the merlot I have in my spritzer glass. And I'm watching Perry Mason. The hairstyles and hats back then are fun to see :)

Tomorrow I work and also get as many electricity using chores done as I possibly can. Time of use rates are lower on the weekend so I jam my heavy use into weekends and evenings.:phew:

Do you find you get a headache at this time of year after washing your hair and going outside?

Although I have a daily shower I only wash my hair every other day. I now try to have my shower in the early evening as I think it brings on headaches for me if I spend time outside on a cold day following an early morning hairwash.....I don't really do hats unless it's really, really required.

I tried to buy an excitable Edgar toy for my grandson and found they are sold out nationwide. I spoke to someone from John Lewis and was told that people were bulk buying them as soon as a delivery arrives. I saw on Ebay they are selling for up to £100 (original price £15). Outrageous.

It's shocking what lengths people will sink to in order to make money, especially at this time of year.

I always dry my hair immediately after washing it in the shower. No headaches and always feel better for having washed and dried it. :blue thumb:
