Way back in 1963 , I bought "Wipeout" by the Surfaris . Never new a jot about them until i found this Youtube video - oh it was a signature tune to "Ready Steady Go" when ...was it Keith Fordyce and that girl with long hair compared it ?

Dare I admit it but the first record I bought was a Tommy Steele record - can't remember which one. I know it cost me a slice out of my weeks pay - I was a trainee hairdresser and for the 1st year only got 13 shillings a week - not much spare cash for spending. It wasn't even for myself it was one of my brothers that I broke - don't think he ever knew about it.

Was bought for me as a birthday present by my skinny blister.

Disraeli Gears, (Cream's second album). I've always tried to keep well away from 'mainstream' ever since.

                Cheers, Tony.
