    Gemini- you lusting after Lord Sugar is probably the wrongest thing Ive read on here.

    Im including poisoning neighbour's gardens in that assessment. :D

    Edited to add: That's not to say I dont appreciate brawn.

    :) First of all it is an entertainment programme....I love it.
    I think it is the fact that we can all take part, in as much as we like to guess who will be fired......a eureka moment if we get it right.
    Lord Sugar is a pratt if we get it wrong....lol:loll:

      Well, I love the programme, I love all the candidates with their egos and OTT self images - bearing in mind they have to put themselves over like that to even get short-listed - and I love watching them making pigs' ears of the assignments - mostly because I know they're probably doing some of them about 218% better than I could have anyway! Though some were a real :DOH:moment - like the nodding dogs scandal! :loll:

      But mostly I love Lord Sugar and his forthright comments. It's what makes the programme worth watching! And makes all the candidates sit there looking like deer caught in headlights and gulping as they wait for their turn to be run over.

        Was watching Piers Morgan meets Lord Sugar last night, and would you believe I was born in the same hospital that he was!!!! I hope you are all suitably impressed!!!!!!!!!:heehee:

        Dasiees, have you ever seen the American version of The Apprentice?

        It makes our provincial version look positively sane and understated by comparison.

        The bombast would take your breath away! I just wish the British version would drop the pretence of the candidates being the best in the country!

        Essentially the show is Big Brother with better tasks.


        I hear Tom is being given his own show. Spreading the nerd power!
