True...........but just remember he hasn't paid taxes in 15 years and probably won't during his lifetime, [don't you wish you could do that?:heehee:] and he's made a lot of money using his own aircraft for the campaign:dunno:............and of course none of his companies, however hidden, will benefit by his proposed Federal Government spending will they???:whistle::heehee::loll::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I think we get the picture Armadii.

We had Tony Blair, I dont think anyone can make sense of any of his finances, they are all into it. It's what you do when you become wealthy.

Its only the little bloke that pays up, always has been and always will be.

I agree, Pete, but what has been evident throughout the campaign is that Trump's financial "activities" are brushed aside, ignored, forgiven without qualification, and even seem to be thought as a necessary attribute for Republican Presidential Candidates. I know that hate of Politicians can blind people, but I've never been an advocate of hitting my right hand with a hammer to take the pain away from my left.:hate-shocked: I guess I'm just bewildered by the willingness of the Republicans to convince themselves, no matter what, that Trump will be their, and the USA's, Saviour .:dunno::wallbanging::snorky:

I would have thought that you of all people would not see it that way.;)

I dont think anyone sees Trump in that light, well not anyone who thinks that is.

People are just fed up with the status quo and want a change of tack, until you try you dont know.
Clinton would have just been more of the same, and the peasants are revolting:biggrin:

I think it's probably that I really do like the American's, but neither Trump or Clinton were/are the answer to their warped political system and problems. Are we just to to say "Ahh, well, Trump is the least of two evils"? That is like you choosing to stick your hand into a jar containing a Rattlesnake or another jar containing a Black Mamba, either is a disaster.:hate-shocked: America deserves better than the choice they had, but then again perhaps Trump will prove to be the catalyst over the next few years to break down the system where dollars comes before democracy, the Electoral College system can distort the voting system, and the candidates can spew allegations of all kinds against their rivals, cultures, races and countries and meet the approval of their voters.........but having seen that desperation seems to be driving the USA to be satisfied with the repulsive candidates that they had.........I have my doubts.:coffee::dunno::snorky:

You have to admit though, the two candidates were actually picked by the system, its not like those two were imposed on the population and it was vote for one or the other, or not at all.

I agree with Pete - nobody wants Trump, they just don't want Clinton even more.

It was interested that the EU ministers are having an emergency meeting about Trump. They described him as an appalling racist who wants to build a wall and return immigrants to Mexico. This is not to be confused with the EU position of building a fence and returning immigrants to Turkey.

Actually, pete, the fact that money, in the Billions of dollars, drives the USA Presidential Campaign means that the population does have the candidates, good or bad, imposed on them as it's the Repubicans and Democrats that have historically held the balance of power backed by Big Money and Industry. Those with money can spend almost limitless amounts on TV time, newspapers, travelling the length and breadth of a Continent while claiming back expenses and taxes, does eliminate any other possible, less powerful, candidates no matter what the merits of the latter. The political system in the USA does need a radical change but both the Republicans and Democrats would throw their hands up in horror saying the US Constitution was being attacked when, probably, the originals delegates who signed the Constitution in 1787 would have been disgusted and disappointed that the political system has fallen into the dire straits that it has.:dunno::coffee:

I am one of those revolting peasants and I voted for Trump. I didn't vote for Bill Clinton and I sure wasn't going to vote for Clinton Part 2. That is one pair that are eyeball deep in their crimes together and they both ought to be scrubbing toilets in prison. In the primaries I voted for Dr. Ben Carson. I didn't vote for Ted Cruz, although I voted for him for Senator. While I agree with a lot of what Ted Cruz stands for, I figured he was too far to the right to be palatable to the general American public that has never read the Constitution or even knows how to spell it. I am pleased that Trump used Dr. Carson in his campaign and hope that he puts him in his cabinet. As a businessman, Trump knows that he doesn't know everything and in business, you hire people that specialize in what you need done. As a revolting peasant, I am sick and tired of know-it-all politicians that only know how to pander, lie, and pimp themselves to the highest bidder. Revolting peasant....that's almost as good as basket of deplorables.

I think, Bay, pete meant it in the context of peasants having a revolution

not as a description of them per se' :dunno::heehee:

It was I that took it deliberately out of context to serve the purpose of a joke.

So there was no deliberate intention of describing those who voted for a change as "revolting peasants":dunno::snorky:
