Ziggys' West Bay,Dorset Veg Plot

Cheers Blacksmith, just hoping it doesn't bolt before the show, watering it as often as possible.

 

That sure is one BIG beetroot Zig; my mum's on her way down your way for he hols soon and she loves the things, she could probably sniff them out from miles away :D, if I were you Zig I'd get a security guard :D

Yep Ziggy it sure is. My Dad used to call the dog a dirty booger at various times and for various reasons. It always cracked me up.

 

Quite jealous of that plot ziggy, it's so productive and looks great, but not so jealous of all the hardwork involved. The onion and beetroot are amazing. Goodluck with the show.

It does take a fair bit of time, theres always something to do.

The way I see it, working on the plot, which I enjoy, is better than working for someone else to get money to buy food.

Great variety of veg there Ziggy, must be busy harvesting that lot.

 

Willow is sorting the Tomatoes as I type. One potato was enough for 2 of us today Sweet Corn got left too long though, should have picked it a few weeks back.

Things are starting to go over, but still plenty of stuff coming in. Could do with a few more sunny days to make more car dried Tomatoes.

 

It's still looking good on the plot Ziggy.

What's that to the left of the compost bin......looks like a giant maggot!
