Any Ferns would be useful for the bit that gets no sun

 

Ok, can certainly manage a couple of those.

 

Nice one Eve, found a small rockery that just doesn't get the sun at all

 

I've got a few ferns dotted around the garden in odd shady spots. Will see if I find a spare one to pot up for you mate.

 

Improvised a water catchment system. Rain pours down the outside of the downpipe

 

Manx Marvels and salad are doing ok

 

What's the tiddler in the pot on the right hand side Zigs?

 

Hoping it's a sunflower, was a bit lashed when I planted it

 

We'll have to wait and see then.

Nice bit of improvisation there Zigs. A brilliant example of how to turn even the most unpromising location into a productive space.

Did spot a couple of things.

That cat's got its tail in the air, you sure it's just water in the bath? .....

...and is that a sycamore I see next to those wooden steps in the background? Proper little aphid breeding ground there if it is. Before you know it they'll be all over your lettuces.
